The ideal window is between 14 and 30 days old-babies are less active and sleep longer at this stage.

Forcing them awake can disrupt their sleep cycles and hormone balance. If your baby is awake, we simply photograph their alert, open-eye moments. We never wake them unnecessarily.

Please avoid vaccinations and baths the day before the shoot.No oil massages on the day of the session.

We recommend booking your newborn session after your 12–20 week scan to reserve a spot around your due date.
The first two weeks are a beautiful time to capture your baby's tiny features and sleepy moments. As these early days pass quickly, booking ahead gives you one less thing to worry about when your little one arrives.

If your baby hasn't started using a pacifier, there's no need to introduce one just for the photoshoot.
A pacifier can sometimes help soothe your baby and help them settle comfortably during the session. This may allow us to capture those peaceful, sleepy moments while keeping the experience as relaxed as possible for your little one.
Every baby is unique, and we'll always follow your baby's cues and comfort. There's no need to rush we want your little one to feel safe, calm, and cared for throughout the session.

Absolutely! Your newborn session is a chance to celebrate your growing family, so siblings and well-behaved pets are welcome to join.
We believe these first photographs are about more than just your new baby they're about the love and connection you share as a family. Parents and siblings are naturally part of the experience, with no extra charge for including them.

If you're simply unsure about wrapping, there's no need to worry. When done safely and gently, wrapping can help some newborns feel snug and settled, but every baby is different. We'll always respect your preferences and your baby's comfort.

To help make your baby's session as comfortable and smooth as possible, here are a few little things to keep in mind:
•    Check your baby's vaccination schedule. Babies may feel unsettled or experience changes in their condition after vaccination. If your baby's session falls within two days of a vaccination, please let us know in advance so we can discuss the best timing for your little one.
•    Please avoid applying oil to your baby's skin or hair on the day of the session. Oil can create unwanted shine and reflections in photographs, making it difficult to capture your baby's delicate features beautifully.
•    Let us know about any special care needs. If there's anything about your baby's health, comfort, or routine that we should be aware of, please share it with us before the session. This helps us prepare thoughtfully for your little one.
